Abstract

The last 30 years of the EE implementation in the Greek Educational system and especially from its introduction in Secondary Education schools (1977) till today, its methodology, as it is formulated into the official records (lows, circulars, ministerial decisions) reflects the content of the international Conferences and the laws of the Greek Educational reality in the scope of which it is applied. In parallel, through the historical decades of the EE process in Greece, a progressive movement from the first efforts towards adopting the international trends and recommendations to the assimilation and institutionalization of the international principles and prototype methodology is observed, as the “opening of the school to society”, the project method, the interdisciplinary approach and the student-oriented pedagogy.
